AI Prompts to Draft SEO-Ready Pages

Once you know what buyers actually search for (from the audit and keyword-clustering step), these prompts turn that research into real pages — in your own voice, not a generic template.

How to use these prompts

Give the agent one real, existing page from your site first — as an example of your layout, tone, and template — before asking it to draft a new one. Without an example, it will default to a generic style that doesn't match the rest of your site.

Prompt 1 — Draft a new keyword-targeted page

Prompt: draft a new page
Here is an existing page from my site as a style and layout reference: [paste the page's HTML or
describe its structure]. Using that same template, draft a new page targeting the keyword
"[YOUR TARGET KEYWORD]". The page should:
- Have a title tag and H1 that both include the target keyword naturally
- Answer what someone searching that exact phrase actually wants to know
- Be written in the same tone and voice as the reference page
- Include 2-3 internal links to other relevant pages on my site: [list a few URLs]

Don't invent specific statistics, prices, or claims about my business — leave a clear placeholder
like [YOUR NUMBER HERE] anywhere a real figure is needed.

Prompt 2 — Turn one page into a content cluster

Prompt: content cluster
I have one page about "[YOUR BROAD TOPIC]". Suggest 4-6 more specific, narrower pages that could
each rank for a related but distinct search — the kind of split a buyer researching this topic
would actually search for one at a time, not just the same page rewritten slightly. For each
one, give me a working title and a one-sentence summary of what it would cover.

Prompt 3 — Internal linking pass

Prompt: internal linking
Look at all the pages in this folder. For each page, suggest 2-4 other pages it should link to,
based on genuine topical relevance — not just linking everything to the homepage. Show me the
plan as a list (page → suggested links) before adding anything.

Prompt 4 — Rewrite thin or outdated content

Prompt: rewrite thin content
This page hasn't been updated in a while and may be thin: [paste the page]. Rewrite it to be
genuinely more useful — more specific, more complete — while keeping the same core topic and
target keyword. Flag anything in the original that looks factually outdated so I can check it.

A caution about volume

An agent can draft pages far faster than you can review them — that's the risk, not the benefit. Publishing content that reads as mass-produced, or that nobody on your team has actually checked for accuracy, is a real cost once it's this easy to generate a lot of it. Draft in batches you can genuinely review, not one you'll rubber-stamp.

Also remember the patience point from the checklist: a batch of new pages typically takes weeks to months to fully index and rank even when everything above is done correctly — publishing more, faster, doesn't skip that.
